dedicated Sales and Use Tax Intern like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Assist with compliance for sales and use tax, gross receipts, and business
taxes. Reconcile related tax accounts. Assist with tax research and projects.
Respond to questions and assist with requests from internal and external
customers.

Responsibilities

* Prepare tax returns and related filings for sales and use, gross receipts, and business taxes for surgery centers and various other facilities. Reconcile related tax accounts.

• Assign item taxability coding for AP system and sales & use tax system.
• Assist with special projects related to various indirect tax issues.
• Respond to information requests from internal and external customers.
• Prepare various sales & use tax analysis tests for SOX 404 and ASC450 reserves.
• Assist with data collection for sales and use tax audits and research projects.

Preferred Qualifications

* The ideal candidate will be student pursuing an Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics undergraduate or advanced degree.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access or other database applications.
