Social Worker / Counselor (SUD Services)

Terry Reilly is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW – LMSW – LCPC – LPC) to join our team! We recognize the need for increased behavioral health services in our community. We provide individual, family and group counseling. Our team of therapists have the opportunity to consult frequently with other experienced colleagues within their building and throughout our agency. Terry Reilly is committed to their role as a teaching institution and provide regular in house trainings and a generous continuing education package for external trainings. While we do not provide medical or dental services in our building, we regularly consult with our client’s Terry Reilly medical and psychiatric providers to provide the best care possible.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE – This position is a part-time and/or full-time position. (Salary information is based on a Full-Time status.)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide behavioral health and chemical dependency treatment services. May be given additional responsibilities to organize and conduct outreach and/or educational activities within the community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field with current professional license in the state of Idaho
* Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare criminal history background check.
* Two years work experience in the field of alcoholism, substance use disorders and mental health.
* One year work experience in a clinical mental health setting.
* Understanding and adherence to ethical standards of the respective licensure board.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working with marginalized populations.
* Reliable and courteous.
* Ability to work as a team member.
* Familiarity with ASAM criteria and levels of care

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Current CADC or ACADC certification.
* Certified as a Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Idaho.
* Bilingual in Spanish and English.
* Two or more years’ experience assessing and counseling clients.
* Experience working in a medical setting, crisis mental health and/or detoxification setting, or as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of computer and email systems, as well as EMR.
* Familiarity with State of Idaho Health & Welfare Mental Health system.
