Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) helps to fulfill the bedside care requirements of our patients and for all age groups. Under the directions of the Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN will work within their entire scope of practice. The LPN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. In addition, the LPN is responsible for assisting registered nurses in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the plan of care. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values at Cimarron Memorial Hospital.

* Experience: New Graduate LPNs are welcome to apply.
* Licensure : Licensed to practice as a practical nurse in the state of Oklahoma or Compact State License.
* Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
* Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
* Preferred Experience: At least (1) year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
* Preferred Certifications _: _ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. All certifications must be maintained in a current status.
* Other: Successful completion of the hospital-approved medication test
