Job Summary and Qualifications

This position requires an in-depth knowledge and experience of the role
volunteer engagement plays in the overall achievement of Mission’s strategic
priorities. This key member of the Volunteer Services team serves as a
resource for equipping volunteers and hospital departments to maximize the
positive impact volunteers bring to the organization and mitigate any
concerns. This supervisor cultivates relationships and serves as an enabler to
promote employee participation in community benefit opportunities and to
advance cross-functional team initiatives. This position requires
understanding of best practices in volunteer engagement, management, planning,
communication, analytics and collaboration. Must also have the ability to
convey and lead others to embrace goals and practices set forth by the
organization.

# What qualifications you will need:

* Required Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent

• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Required Experience: One year of supervisory experience of volunteers or direct reports
• Preferred Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in planning, implementation and supervision related to the management of volunteer resources. Proven skill in collaboration with volunteers and hospital staff to create meaningful roles for volunteers that are impactful to the organization.
