What You Can Expect:
* The position is 0.8 FTE bariatric surgery and 0.2 FTE general surgery. The expectation is to provide comprehensive bariatric surgical services in our accredited program as well as some general surgery services.
* Participate in a multi-disciplinary team including bariatric nutritionists and medical bariatric partners regarding optimal weight loss strategies
* Participate in bariatric and general surgery call
* Need to travel to different centers during the week
Minimum Requirements:
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Eligible in General Surgery
* Minimum of 1-2 years practice experience in bariatric surgery as well as experience with robotic surgery
* Experience with gastric sleeve, bypass and revisional bariatric surgery
* Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $385,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
