dedicated OR Scrub Tech like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for supplying, equipping and performing scrub nurse role in the
ORs. Also responsible for all facets of sterile consciousness and safety in
the OR. Appropriates procedural charges, manages all supplies and equipment
and maintain inventory. Serves as a secretarial resource for the department ,
directs communication within the department, utilizes computer systems to
enter patient information, places orders/charges.
In This Role You Will Have:

• Graduation from a Surgical Technician Program required
• Must Live within 30 minutes of the facility
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date High School Graduate / GED
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Background Check Required
• On-call rotation required.

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the
Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These
specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are
designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other
specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU
hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient
rehabilitation. Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.
This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on
Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division. HCA Florida
Mercy Hospital is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine,
