Job Summary and Qualifications

_Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer_
Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are
currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per
diem/as-needed basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you
will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful,
compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are
dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures
• Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate

What qualifications you will need:

• General Ultrasound experience preferred; Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers; Vocational School Graduate
• RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

DMS Abdomen Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be
obtained within 60 months of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
