Responsibilities:

Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging prodecure; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors

Programs ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of examinations

Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures

Assists in maintaining basic records and reports

What you will need:

Graduation from an AMA approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, either college affiliated or hsopital trained.

Registerd with the American REgistry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

Certified by the State of North Dakota to practice and administer ultrasound

Current BLS Certification

One (1) year experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist preferred

Knowledge of Anatomy and phsiology
