Position Description

Join our 5 current Cardiologists, our Midlevel providers, and our clinical care team and together lead our Cardiovascular Disease program to new and greater heights.

Work Load:

* 5 x 8 hours shifts or, 4 x10 hour shifts, depends on cardiology service needs

* 2-3 days per week in clinic, 10-15 patients per day.

* 2-3 days per week in the non-invasive lab

* 1/6 shared Inpatient Cardiology consult rotations and call coverage with support from a full hospitalist team, residents, and fellows

Comp & Benefits:

* Potential starting base salary range: $375,000 – $4000,000

Requirements:

* At least 1 state active medical license; no revoked, suspended, probation state licensures

* A degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent allopathic or osteopathic degree from an accredited institution; or evidence of an ECFMG certificate.

* Completion of Residency Training.

* Board Eligible in Cardiology

* Selective Service Registration is for males born after 12/31/1959.

* Proficient in written and spoken English.

Preferences :

* U.S. Citizenship; in accordance with VA Policy, non-citizens may be considered if no qualified US citizens are selected.

* Board Certified in Cardiology

* Teaching residents

* Demonstration professional and collaborative work
