Per Diem CT/X-Ray Technologist

CT

Independently performs CT studies that meet or exceed the standards set by the interpreting radiologist(s)

Uses professional judgment to reconstruct images as needed to enhance study for interpretation

Follows established protocols for individual CT examinations

Prepares equipment and room for exams:

Interviews and assesses patient for CT exam

X-Ray

Performs General Diagnostic Radiography exams, including Fluoroscopy

Assists patients as needed to obtain quality exam

Physically maneuver/lift patients to a standing position to perform x-ray exams

Physically maneuver/lift patients to an exam table to perform
x-ray exams

Assist patients as needed to obtain quality exam

Prepares exam rooms

Maintains clean and stocked exam rooms

Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as needed

Rotates to other shifts and locations as needed

Participates with the training of students in the educational radiologic program

Performs diagnostic images in operating room.

Requirements

Must be ARRT certified or ARRT registry eligible. CT registry/eligible or have 1 year of CT experience.
